Little Women, as directed by Greta Gerwig, was a beautiful adaptation of the classic novel. The film is told through the voice of Jo March and is a recollection of moments from her life and how she and her three sisters passionately steered through womanhood. It is a timeless story that focuses on the sister’s resilience through adversity during the civil war time period. Little Women teaches its audience to embrace their lives, however messy they may be, because there is always something to be grateful for; and family plays a big role in that. Even if you are deciding to watch this movie for no other reason than Timothee Chalamet’s role in it (which is justifiable), you will not be let down. This movie was uplifting, empowering and everything in between! Little Women is an unavoidably important movie and a must watch.
